149. Ellenburg or Ellenberg
Location: = Germany Description: = My families roots are in Germany. I know very little about any of them. I believe that the name of Ellenburg may have been Ellenberg after coming to the US. My great, great great grandmother was from Netherlands and I have been told that she was "black dutch". ANY knowledge of ANY Ellenburg or Ellenberg in any camp would be appreciated. I do know that there is an Ellenburg town in Germany. I saw it on a trip to Germany about a month ago.

148. Feliks Wodzak
Location: = tczew Description: = We know that he was about 16 in 1939 and we suspect that he may have been taken for forced labor. All we really know is that he disappeared and that the family did not know his whereabouts until several years after the war. He died in a building-site accident in England sometime after the war. We guess that he went to England from a DP camp in Germany under some sort of British reconstruction plan, but we don't know where he was or what he was doing during the war or just after. Any information from someone who might remember Feliks would be appreciated. Also, any historical information that might help us piece together his story--where laborers from his part of Poland often ended up, which DP camps might be likely places, sources of documents that might provide clues--any of this would help us piece together his story.

147. Osiadacz, Eugeniusz
Poland Description: = My grandfather, Eugeniusz Osiadacz, lived in Poland during the WWII years. He wouldn't talk about his experience but I would like to know my history. My grandmother's family name is Deja. They lived around the Warsaw/Torun area.

146. STEPHAN KOLOGISKI
A RELATIVE VISITING AUSCHWITZ RECENTLY SAW THIS NAME ON A WALL THERE. KOLOGISKI IS OUR FAMILY NAME AND HER MOTHER'S MAIDEN NAME. ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PERSON OR FROM ANYONE HAVING THIS LAST NAME WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. SINCE ALL OUR OLDER RELATIVES ARE DECEASED, WE HAVE VERY LITTLE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR FAMILY ROOTS. WE DO KNOW THAT THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN WAS SOMEWHERE IN EASTERN EUROPE AND VERY LIKELY CAUGHT UP IN THE HITLER HORROR.

141. Name: Helena Ristic or Helena Mashkin (her married name)
My grandmother, Helena Ristic, survived Dachau. After the liberation of the camps, she returned to Yugoslavia and lived there until her death in the 1960's. My mother and Aunt, who were in Displaced Persons camps after the war, have no idea when or why she was taken to the camp, nor do they know what happened to the rest of her family. After the war, she found my Aunt in the displaced persons camp and took her back to Yugoslavia. I am searching for any records relating to her time in Dachau. I am also searching for any information regarding her family backround. My grandfather (her husband) was a Russian Jew, born in Krakow, and married her in Yugoslavia.

137. Zbegniew Contance Mucha
Post Warsaw Uprising 1944 Location: = Feucht, Germany Description: = I'm trying to find out if there was a forced labour camp in Feucht, Germany and any information about it around September 1944 onwards? My late father was deported out from Warsaw after the Uprising in '44 and worked in a ball bearing factory there. He also told me that there were dutch prisoners with him as well as Poles. I don't know if he was actually interned there or perhaps travelled from a camp elsewhere to work in Feucht? He did mention that he was also at Neurenberg at one time so perhaps this was the camp he was imprisoned in - he was liberated by US army I think from Neurenberg but could say for sure? Any information would be most welcome. My fathers name: Zbegniew Contance Mucha (born 11th March 1926) Son of Jan and Helena Mucha (I believe my Grandfather may have worked in a Bank in Warsaw?)

136. Wladislaw Mrozik y Anastasia Deoniza Mrozik (nee Mierzejewska)
Deceased at Auschwitz approximately 1943-44
Bytom, Dombrowa Gornicza
I am trying to find anyone who may have been at Auschwitz (Oscwiecim) during the years 1942 - 1945. Both my father's parents died there. We do have the notification from the Gestapo of their deaths, however we would like to hear from anyone who could tell us about them there. My father was an officer in the Polish Army, he was captured during the first days of the war and sent to Murnau in Germany, where he was held prisoner till the end of the war when he was finally released and joined the Allied Occupation Forces in Germany.

134. Wolyn - Lendringsen Camp
I am attempting to put together memoirs of my parents' lives, but they are reluctant to speak about it. This much I know - my father, a catholic from Wolyn, Poland was taken from his home by the age of 14 or 15.....he was forced into labor, his last camp was in Lendringsen a sub-camp of Buchenwald.
Please contact me-- thank you,

133. Krausz, Karoly
Hungary. I am looking for any information pertaining to CAMP FLOSSENBURG in Germany where my father, Karoly Krausz, was a prisoner from October 1944 to April 1945, 25 years of age at the time, when the camp was liberated. My father, who died in 1985, never told me anything about his experience, and I would greatly appreciate any information about what he might have went through at this time. He was from Hungary, a family of 6 children, and only he survived, one other brother, and sister, who are also both gone. His father's name was Simon, and mother's name was Szerafin Pollak (maiden name), other children were Emil, Terexia, Ilona, Ferro, & Sandor. If anyone has any information, please help me fill this gap in my family history. Thank you very much.
